The Danger Tweaker is an Object Tweaker gadget that applies a lethal effect to the attached object, as if the player had used a Danger Tool on it.

LittleBigPlanet Karting does not feature the traditional Danger Tools, so this is the only way to apply hazards in that game.

Usage and Behaviour

The Danger Tweaker can be attached to any surface or circuit board, and will apply one of a few hazards to the attached object while active. The tweaker will lethalise any object it is attached to — including ones that are otherwise incompatible with the Danger Tools, such as the Projectiles — and behave as though the player had applied that danger themselves.

The Danger Tweaker is always active by default, but if a wire is connected to its input, it will turn on when it receives a digital ON signal. It also takes player ownership into account, allowing players to set traps for each other in a Versus level — for example, if Player 1 activates a Danger Tweaker, and Player 2 is killed by that object, Player 1 will receive 10 points for it, as they were responsible for the kill.

The Danger Tweaker cannot set an object on fire if it is submerged in water.
