The Race Position Sensor is a sensor gadget in LittleBigPlanet Karting that outputs a signal based on which position the player is in during a game.

Usage and Behaviour

The Race Position Sensor is dependent on player data to function, and so can only be placed onto a Spawn Point; it will track the position of whichever player spawns there.

The sensor outputs a digital ON signal as long as the player is in first place, and an analogue signal based on their current position. The analogue signal strength scales depending on how many players (or bots) are in the game; First and Last Place will always output 100% and 0% respectively, but Second Place outputs 50% in a 3-player game, 67% in a 4-player game, and so on. Tweaks

Invert Output: ( No •‎ Yes ) Inverts the gadget's output, turning On signals Off and vice-versa.

Visible in Play Mode: ( No •‎ Yes ) Determines whether or not the object will be rendered in Play Mode.
