The Weapon Target is an Object Tweaker gadget in LittleBigPlanet Karting that marks non-player objects as targets for seeking weapons.
Overview
The Weapon Target can be placed onto any object. When a seeking weapon is fired in range of an active Weapon Target, the weapon will fly towards the weapon, detonating when it makes contact or, in the case of non-solid objects, gets close enough.
With the exception of Leader Seekers (which ignore Weapon Targets entirely), all seeking weapons will lock onto an active Weapon Target if there are no karts that can be targeted instead; each weapon's target mode handles the presence of multiple Weapon Targets slightly differently.
- Target Ahead: If there are multiple Weapon Targets in front of the user, the weapon will target whichever one they are angled closest to. If a kart is in front of the driver that fired the weapon, it will prioritize the kart instead.
- All Ahead: A copy of the weapon will be spawned for every valid target ahead of the user. If one or more karts are in front of the user, only karts will be targeted.
- Flashlight: A copy of the weapon will be spawned for every valid target ahead of the user, be it a kart or a Weapon Target.
The Weapon Target has a single input that can be used to control the target with logic, turning on or off depending on the incoming digital signal.
Karts will not inherit the properties of Weapon Targets placed onto their Spawn Points; weapons will simply target the gadget's position on the Spawn Point object.
