A Global Lighting Tweaker, known as the Global Lighting Object in the original LittleBigPlanet, is a Global Tweaker that adjusts the lighting, darkness and fog of a level. First introduced in Creator Pack 1, it was later included as part of the default toolset from LittleBigPlanet 2 onwards.

Usage and Behavior

Tweaks

Lighting

Lighting: (Tweak Global ColorRamp Lighting.png)
Determines whether the level is set at daytime or nighttime.
Darkness: (Tweak Global ColorRamp Darkness.png)
Determines how dark the level is.
Fog Level: (0% - 100%)
Determines how foggy the level is.
Fog Color: (Tweak Global ColorRamp Fog.png)
Sets the color of the fog in the level.
Color Correction: (Tweak Global ColorRamp ColorCorrection.png)
Determines the color correction of the level.

Activation

Trigger Radius: (0.0 - 5,000.0)
Determines how close players can get before the Global Lighting Tweaker activates.
Layer Detection Range (LBP3 only): (0 - 16)
Sets how many layers away from the object the Global Lighting Tweaker can detect players.

Transition Time

Sets the length of time (in seconds) over which the Global Tweaker's settings will be applied.
