The Global Lighting Object level is a tutorial level in Creator Pack 1 for the original LittleBigPlanet. In this level, the player is taught about the Global Lighting Object and its functions.

Overview

The player starts at the entrance, where The Queen introduces the Global Lighting Object and the player can collect the object's Prize Bubble. The gadget's functionality of activating when players stand in front of it is then demonstrated, with different Global Lighting Objects set to day and night respectively. After that, a Two-Way Switch is used to demonstrate the Global Lighting Object's other functionality of being activated by switches; pulling the switch left sets the lighting to nighttime, and pulling the switch right sets it to daytime. After this, the player can return to their Pod at their leisure.
