Game: LittleBigPlanet 3
Type: Gadgets
Category: Creature Tweakers
Inputs: 1

The Character Teleporter is a Creature Tweaker gadget in LittleBigPlanet 3 that instantly teleports players to its location when activated.

Usage and Behaviour

When the Character Teleporter receives a digital ON signal, it will instantly teleport the player to its location.

If the Character Teleporter's Transition Time is set to a non-zero value, the player will be put in limbo for the duration specified before appearing at the Teleporter's location. In Create Mode, pressing Down button will force the player out of this limbo state.

Limitations

The Teleporter will always try to teleport the player one layer in front of the object it is attached to; if there is a solid object in front of it, of the teleporter is attached to an object on Layer 1, the player will not be teleported. If the teleporter has a non-zero transition time but is unable to respawn the player, they will be trapped in limbo indefinitely until an exit Worm Hole is triggered.

If set to Yes, every player in the game will be teleported when activated. Otherwise, only the player that sent the signal will be teleported. Note that if the signal is not owned by a player, it will teleport everyone regardless of this setting.
