Overview

Scripted Notes are a Developer item used in LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet 3 to perform certain scripted actions when they are activated. Unlike normal Notes, Scripted Notes have an input to activate the script that they have. Notes are used for these script activators because they have a text field that can be used to display the script's function.

Scripted Note Types

There are different types of scripts on notes used in the story levels that perform different functions.

Level Zero Voiceover

This script is what is used to play the narrator's voiceovers for the Introduction level when activated. It uses the script postitnotelevelzerovo.ff and has "custom script to play pod_level_zero voice over" in its text field.

Unlock Costumes

This script is used to unlock access for the player to their costumes page in the Introduction level when activated. It uses the script postitnoteunlockcostume.ff and has "custom script to unlock costumes in poppet" in its text field.

Unlock Suicide

This script is used to unlock access for the player to the "Hold To Retry!" popit option in Rookie Test when activated. It uses the script postitnoteunlocksuicide.ff and has "custom script to unlock sucicide poppet option" in its text field.

Unlock Stickers

This script is used to unlock access for the player to their stickers page in Rookie Test when activated. It uses the script postitnoteunlockstickers.ff and has "custom script to unlock stickers in poppet" in its text field.

Credits

This script is used to play the game's credits when activated. If it is activated after being active, it will stop playing the credits, and the credits will stay in the same position until activated again. It uses the script postitnotecredits.ff and has "credits" in its text field.
