The Powerup Loadout is a Kart Tweaker gadget in LittleBigPlanet Karting that gives its owner a powerup when activated.

Usage and Behaviour

The Powerup Loadout can only be placed on Spawn Points, and affects whichever kart spawns there. When activated, depending on its settings, it either gives the owner the Grapple Hook or Grabinators, or takes away their current powerup. The Powerup Loadout is always active by default, but if a wire is connected to its input, it only becomes active when it receives a digital ON signal; after it loses power, the player will retain their powerup until they die, drive through a Powerup Remover, or another Powerup Loadout changes their powerup.

If the owner is affected by two or more Powerup Loadouts at the same time — each giving different powerups — the game will rapidly switch between them every frame and the owner will be unable to use either of them.

Tweaks

Powerup Loadout Type: ( None; Grapple Hook; Grabinator) Determines which powerup the owner will receive when the Powerup Loadout activates. If set to None, their current powerup will be removed instead.
