The Creatinator is a powerup that allows Sackboy to shoot all sorts of objects from his head. It has been used as the basis for several projectile-based powerups since its introduction, including the Blink Ball in LittleBigPlanet 3.
Tweaks
Physical Properties: (
) When Static, the object cannot be moved while time is unpaused. When Dynamic, the object can be moved and is subject to gravity. |
Choose Object
Object to Emit: (Enabled Objects, Collected Objects, User Objects, Community Objects) The object set to be emitted from the Creatinator. Items can have an internal flag enabled to appear in this selection menu. |
Shoot at touchpoint: (
) If set to one of the touch options, the Creatinator shoots towards the player's finger on either the Touchscreen, Rear Touch Pad, or both. Otherwise, the player aims with as normal. |
Ammo: (1 - 1,000) Sets how many times the chosen object can be emitted by the Creatinator. Setting this value below 1 grants the player infinite ammo. |
Max Emitted At Once: (0 - 100) Determines how many instances of the chosen object can exist in the scene at a time. |
Recycle Old Objects: ( ) If set to Yes, then once the player reaches the Max Emitted At Once value, the oldest instance of the chosen object will be deleted to make room for more. |
Speed
Linear Velocity: (0 - 100) Determines how fast the object is shot out when emitted. If set to 0, it simply falls. |
Angular Velocity: (-1500 - 0 - 1500) Determines how fast the object spins when shot, and in which direction. |
Accuracy: (0% - 100%) Determines how accurate the Creatinator's shots are, indicated by a coloured cone in front of the cannon's barrel. At 0%, projectiles will travel in a random direction within a 90° angle radius of the cannon's barrel. |
Timing
Single shot: ( ) If set to Yes, the Creatinator will only shoot one projectile at a time. If set to No, the Creatinator will fire a constant stream of objects as long as is held. |
Rate Of Fire: (0s - 86,400.0s) Sets how long to wait between shots. The lights on the helmet will dim during this cooldown period. |
Lifetime: (∞s - 0s - 86,400.0s) How long emitted objects last before they are deleted. Setting this value below 1 sets the lifetime to infinite. |
