50cc is a boy outfit that appeared in the original LittleBigPlanet. The outfit consists of a striped stunt helmet, cape, and a matching jacket and trousers.
Costume pieces
The complete outfit set can be found within prize bubbles in Lowrider's x2 multi-player area. The jacket and cape can be found on the top section of the puzzle, while the bottom section contains the trousers and helmet.
Cut content
Costume pieces for an early outfit predating 50cc exist in the June 2008 prototype for LittleBigPlanet, as well as other pre-release media for the game. In the final game, the helmet and jacket were remodeled and every item retextured - but the cuffs were removed entirely and were recovered from the TGS Move demo.
History
Prior to its redesign, the 50cc outfit's appearance was based on stunt performer Evel Knievel and his famous attire. At some point in development, any direct reference to Knievel's likeness was completely scrapped, with the outfit's assets recycled for 50cc. Later, included in LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Portable was the Stuntman outfit, a variant of 50cc. Featured in Tinsel Town, PSP's sixth theme, the Stuntman outfit is fundamentally identical to the finalized 50cc outfit, albeit sporting a colour palette similar to the Evel Knievel iteration.
