The Queen is a major character in LittleBigPlanet, and the Creator Curator of the tutorials. She is the wife of the King.

History

LittleBigPlanet

The Queen is the second Creator Curator Sackboy meets, albeit in a side-character role. She instructs Sackboy to watch the Placing Stickers and PlayStation Eye Camera tutorials in First Steps, and the Placing Decorations tutorial in Get a Grip. In Skate to Victory, she accompanies the Take A Photo Tool tutorial and reappears at the end of the level to introduce the MyMoon to Sackboy.

She appears again in the Wilderness, first in The Collector's Lair where she is freed after being captured by The Collector (Creator Curator). She rides on a wooden steed along with The King as they bring Sackboy to the scoreboard while passing the other rescued curators. She then appears in the level The Collector (Story Level) alongside The King and all the other characters present at the Scoreboard in the end of the level.

She appears in every tutorial level, giving Sackboy a brief instruction of how to complete the tutorial before watching the provided video. She has a more substantial role in Creator Pack 1 and the Water Creator Tutorials, where she guides Sackboy on how to use each new feature step-by-step.

LittleBigPlanet 2

The Queen appears as a cameo in the Eve's Asylum level Patients Are A Virtue. Her appearance is slightly altered as with the other characters that appear here, and she is holding an arrow sign.

LittleBigPlanet Karting

The Queen serves the role of the Creator Curator of LittleBigPlanet, which consists of the first four worlds of the original title. She greets Sackboy as he drives up to the first race and states that the King has wandered off to somewhere, referencing his abduction by the Hoard. She uses a different gibberish voice in this game.

LittleBigPlanet 3

In The Great Escape, a Newton-built version of The Queen appears in the background of the Swoop section of the level.

The Journey Home

The Queen appears in the third level of the kit, Spring Time in the Gardens. She is beside the King in all of her appearances, at the beginning of the level when he gives OddSock the Springinator, and at the end of the level wearing sunglasses when he presents the invitation.

In From Chaos to Cakes, She is seen waving next to The King as they welcome Sackboy back to Craftworld.

General information

Physical appearance

Like the King, The Queen is made of painted cardboard. She has a pale face and arms, freckles, and short red hair. She wears a cardboard crown with green feathers and a purple dress with a trim of green gems.

Personality

The Queen has a personality similar to her husband, representing a friendly figure who is eager to teach Sackboy, mainly about creation. Although she seems to be calm and somewhat reserved, she shows a goofier side in the DLC tutorial levels, where she teaches Sackboy how much fun he can have in Create Mode. In LittleBigPlanet Karting, in the absence of the King, the Queen assumes the role of Creator Curator of the Gardens and rises as a leader willing to take up arms against the threat of The Hoard. This version of her is more authoritative and speaks with a firm, confident tone. However, once the situation is resolved and the King is safely returned, she resumes her usual demeanor.
