The Reset Costume Tool is used to completely remove any costume pieces from Sackboy, including stickers.

Tool Usage

The Reset Costume Tool is part of the Costume Popit Functions and resets Sackboy back to the basic brown knit, if you needed to start making your costume from the beginning.

The function is found in the fifth tab of the Costumes page in LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3), and by pressing X on the icon, every costume piece currently being worn will be removed, along with any stickers and decorations. This function is not to be confused with the Wash Costume Tool, which instead only removes stickers and decorations while leaving costume pieces alone.

Changes in Later Games

LittleBigPlanet 2

In LittleBigPlanet 2, the costumes page was moved from the fifth to the first page, meaning the Reset Tool was also moved for easier, and quicker access. It's icon was also changed to a filled in, inverted version of the LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3) icon, possibly because of visibility issues.

LittleBigPlanet Karting

In LittleBigPlanet Karting, the Reset Tool is only accessible while in the pod (along with Character Customization page), and cannot be used in Create Mode or Play Mode.

LittleBigPlanet 3

When playing as a Toggle (or a custom Changeling character) in LittleBigPlanet 3, selecting Reset Costume will trigger a character change and respawn the character with their default appearance.
