Random Costume, known as "Surprise Me!" in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, is a Popit Function that creates a random costume using pieces that the player has unlocked or downloaded.

Tool Usage

The Random Costume Tool is part of the Costume Popit Functions and scrambles your costume into a completely random configuration, based on what you have in your Popit.

The function is found in the fifth tab of the Costumes page in LittleBigPlanet, and by pressing Cross button on the icon, it puts on a random combination of costume pieces with one piece corresponding to a body part. (E.g. Two hats can't be selected at the same time.) Upon pressing Cross button again, a new combination is put on, comepletely unique to the previous.

Changes in Later Games

LittleBigPlanet 2

In LittleBigPlanet 2, the costumes page was moved from the fifth to the first page, meaning the Random Costume Tool was also moved for easier, and quicker access.

LittleBigPlanet Karting

In LittleBigPlanet Karting, the Random Costume Tool is only accessible while in the pod (along with Character Customization page), and cannot be used in Create Mode or Play Mode.
