Trigger Explosive

Type: Gameplay Kit
Category: Dangerous
Inputs: 1
Obtained from: Start (LBP1, LBP2, LBPV, LBP3)

Usage and behaviour

A Trigger Explosive will detonate only when triggered by a switch.

Shape

The shape of the Trigger Explosive is rectangular with rounded corners; the corners are rounded because explosives will cut in the shape of the object that explodes, and this is to avoid sharp edges on the cuts.

Extreme Impact

While only intended to be detonated via its input, a Trigger Explosive will actually explode on impact, but requires an extreme amount of force to do so. Attaching a rocket set to max strength and letting the explosive fly from one side of the level to the other will have enough force for the Trigger Explosive to explode, but forces that high are likely to break objects at that speed regardless.

Type: Gameplay Kit

Inputs: 1 (Explosive), 1 (Thruster)
Obtained from: DLC (LBP1)

A Missile is a special explosive introduced in the Metal Gear Solid Pack that has a thruster attached.

Usage and behaviour

Thruster

The missile acts exactly like a bomb with a rocket attached, even including the same tweaks, but has one unique feature. When it explodes, the thruster part of the missile will be immediately deleted due to a script embedded in it.

LBP2 Missile

A DLC-Free Missile was added in LittleBigPlanet 2; it acts exactly the same as the Metal Gear Solid one, and just features a unique model.
