External Link Captcha

I'm trying to create a new template that contains an adaptive external link to an internal page in order to apply parameters to it. The link in question is [//{{SERVERNAME}}/Special:Search/{{{pagename|{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}}?fulltext=1] so it should only ever link to internal pages. Trouble is, I can't create the template's page without being asked to fill out a captcha "question" that's just a series of random characters. I've tried both copying and typing in the string into the text box, but it just brings me back to it. How is it supposed to work? Sackinator20 (talk) 18:48, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
