Victoria Von Bathysphere is a major character in LittleBigPlanet 2, and the creator curator of Victoria's Laboratory. A clever, insecure, and self-accusatory inventor, Victoria is responsible for creating Sackbots.
History
LittleBigPlanet 2
Victoria Von Bathysphere makes her first appearance in LittleBigPlanet 2, where she serves as the second creator curator of its story mode. After Sackboy teams up with Larry Da Vinci, the two set out to collect a Sackbot army fresh baked at Victoria's house. The Negativitron beats them there, stealing away most of the Sackbots, driving Victoria from her residence, and flooding the area with Meanie-possessed cakes and machines. She, along with Sackboy and her love interest, Da Vinci, venture back into her laboratory to vanquish the Meanie threats and salvage what is left of the army. Their efforts are in vain, as the brainwashed Sackbots march towards the Factory Of A Better Tomorrow.
Victoria stays back at her laboratory to clean up, later reuniting with the Alliance at Huge Spaceship's crash site in Avalonia. The Alliance concludes that great inventor Dr. Herbert Higginbotham is the only hope to repair Huge Spaceship, to which Victoria enthusiastically concurs, once again hanging back while Sackboy and Clive Handforth sail to Eve's Asylum to assist Dr. Higginbotham. Once the Alliance regroups for their departure, Victoria joins them on their trip into the Cosmos, where she helps the team in the final battle. When confronting the Negativitron, it claims her negative trait is insecurity.
LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack
Victoria Von Bathysphere reappears in the Move Pack DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2, where she is indirectly responsible for creating the Cakeling after it falls into the line of fire of her Brain Crane experiment. She, along with her assistant, are trapped inside her laboratory, where Sackboy, Geribald Mossrock, and their Sackbot posse arrive to vanquish the Cakeling and free Victoria.
LittleBigPlanet 3
Victoria makes cameo appearances[citation needed] throughout LittleBigPlanet 3's story mode, while making a direct appearance as the Popit professor at the second term of Popit Academy, teaching the more advanced subjects on creating.
LittleBigPlanet 3: The Journey Home
Victoria makes her most recent appearance in the Journey Home, where she and Larry Da Vinci organize a reunion party for Sackboy and Bunkum's heroes. Victoria tasks herself with providing snacks and treats for the party, but things go awry when Newton Pud's Dimensional Doorway overshoots the party in the Gardens, taking Da Vinci and the rest of the invitations with it. Victoria remains at the Gardens while the heroes find their way back to the Gardens, where they and the rest of the creator curators celebrate their return.
General Information
Physical Appearance
Victoria is an elegant mechanical doll with a metallic body. She has the head of an antique porcelain doll, sporting turquoise “closable” eyes, round facial features, dolly eyelashes, painted eyebrows, cheeks with makeup, and blonde, yellow hair with a high bun hairstyle.
The rest of her body is made of copper and brass, with a clearly robotic nature and a very Victorian look. Her torso features a corset-looking wasp waist, big shoulder pads adorned with golden motifs, a circular furnance air vent with a pink interior on her chest, and a wind-up key on her back. She wears a chocolate-brown skirt, wheel-shaped earrings and welding style goggles on top of her head. She has simple robotic arms and copper boots for feet.
Personality
Victoria is a prolific baker and mad scientist with a ladylike demeanor, an insecure personality, and very bad luck. She is highly emotional and tends to blame herself when things go wrong with her creations, even when it isn’t her fault.
