The Cakeling is the main antagonist of the LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack, and was created when an escaped cake Meanie dove into an advanced Brain Crane when it was being developed.

History

LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack

General information

The Cakeling started as a cake meanie captured by Victoria Von Bathysphere in a glass bottle. When Victoria invented the Brain Crane, the Cakeling took the opportunity to escape its bottle, and fused with it to gain its power.

Physical appearance

The Cakeling looks similar to the other Meanie Cakes that were created during the Negativitron's attack on Victoria's Lab, although his fusion with the Brain Crane gives him a darker appearance, with completely flat and silhouette-like colors. He has a shadow-like black cupcake body, short purple tentacles that constantly wave, evil orange eyes, and a bulky brain over his frosting, into which the crane is implanted featuring an sinister purple light. He is mainly made of sticker panels, as a demonstration of the creative possibilities this material offers for character design.

Personality

Prototype Content

The Cakeling was originally made when a meanie and one of the cut Stitchling characters (an early version of Monty) combined together into one monster, and was meant to be the result of a freak accident.
The name Cakeling itself is just a simple combination of Cake and Stitchling.
