The Prologue is the first chapter of LittleBigPlanet 3's story mode, taking place in the Stitchem theme, home of Newton and Nana Pud. The theme is constructed around the Roaring Twenties and the '50s in the UK, with a special focus on Northern England's countryside culture during these decades.

Overview

The area introduces the world of Bunkum, as well as the somewhat-sinister Newton and his hidden plans.

Due to time constraints, the Prologue was drastically reduced in size throughout its development.

Subthemes & revisions

Needlepoint Acres, a predecessor to Stitchem. Stitchem Green, the subtheme centered around picnics and fairs that would later get downsized and merged into Needlepoint Peaks. Stitchem Manor, a subtheme centered around dirty kitchen junk and old house decoration that predates Stitchem Green and was once a standalone theme. Needlepoint Peaks, a subtheme centered around snowy fabrics, brass instruments, and art-deco designs that later got merged with Stitchem Green.
