A Velociporter is a Gameplay Object in LittleBigPlanet 3 that instantly warps Sackthings between matching Velociporters whilst maintaining their velocity.
Usage and Behaviour
When a Sackthing touches a Velociporter, they will be warped to the nearest active Velociporter with a matching colour and label.
A Velociporter will not warp a Sackthing if the closest matching Velociporter is blocked by a solid object.
Despite what its description claims, Sackthings lose a tiny amount of speed when entering a Velociporter. This can be observed by placing two matching Velociporters next to each other - both pointed at the ceiling - and warping between them; the Sackthing's peak height diminishes over time as they keep warping between the two Velociporters.
Velociporters are always active by default, but can be connected to a switch to trigger them using logic; with a wire connected to its input, a Velociporter will activate when it receives a digital ON signal, deactivating when that signal turns OFF. The analogue component of the signal is not used.

In Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Velociporters return in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and function similarly to their previous appearance, albeit with a couple of key differences. Unlike their LittleBigPlanet 3 counterparts, Velociporters in SABA are able to teleport non-player entities, including thrown Whirltools, enemies, collectables, and certain dynamic objects. Entities that enter a Velociporter do not retain their velocity; they will always be launched at a predetermined speed, which varies with each Velociporter.
