This page details all of the updates released for LittleBigPlanet 3, including the additions and changes made between revisions. As this title was released on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, some changes may only apply to one specific release of the game. Note that the Japanese version of LittleBigPlanet 3 never received any of the patches beyond 1.21 due to support for the series being cut off in the region after July 31, 2016.
Version 1.27
Released on September 13, 2021. This update is only available for the PlayStation 4 version of LittleBigPlanet 3, and includes security fixes which allow the game to connect to the official servers.
Changes
- Minimum PS4 firmware requirement is now 8.52.
- Updated the security certificate required to connect online.
- Hearted Creator lists now only display one creator at a time.
- The "Dive In" feature has been disabled; it is no longer possible to access it from the Play Online section of the Pause menu, and selecting the button that appears when no PSN friends are online does nothing.
- It is still possible to join other players when prompted via a community level.
New Bugs
- The Challenge button in the Play section of the Pod Main Menu seemingly no longer works.
Version 1.26
Released on May 18, 2017.
- Added the data for the Andy Gilmore and mcbess sticker kits.
Changes
- A handful of the assets from the Little Nightmares pack were updated.
- The bevel on the Wooden Wall Panels material was changed.
- The Carving Knife and Meat Cleaver objects now kill players with the spike effect, rather than horrible gas.
Version 1.25
Released on March 17, 2017.[1] This update is notable for utilizing the PlayStation 4's patch pre-load feature. While it began rolling out from March 14, it couldn't be installed until three days later at 12:01AM GMT.
Additions
- Added the data for the Little Nightmares Asset Pack, as well as the Tekken 7, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Villains and Mass Effect: Andromeda costume packs.
- Added Genres sub-menu to the Community menu.
- Added new search labels.
- Added a connection quality display to online multiplayer.
- A player's connection is rated using coloured dots, with three green dots being a good connection and one red dot being a poor connection.
- Only visible to the host of the session, can be seen from the Manage Players section of the Pause menu, or by pressing .
Changes
- Reduced the selection speed when browsing the main Community menu.
Version 1.24
Released on November 18, 2016.
Additions
- Added two secret Pins for the LittleBigForum fansite, and Media Molecule's 10th anniversary.
Changes
- Reverted the Intern, Fancy Latte and Red Cat icons to how they appeared prior to version 1.23.
Version 1.23

Additions
- Added the data for the Spooky Ghost, Soulcalibur, Dark Souls III and NAMCO Classics costume packs.
- Challenges have been fully implemented.
- Added new functionality to the Race Gate.
Changes
- The Intern, Fancy Latte and Red Cat costumes were all updated to use newer renders. However, the new icons do not load properly, displaying error graphics in their place.
New Bugs
- After being disconnected from an online multiplayer game, there is a chance that the player will not spawn. This can be fixed by disconnecting the system from the internet, otherwise the game must be closed and re-opened.
Version 1.22
Released on August 15, 2016.
Additions
- Added the data for the Horizon: Zero Dawn and Mm Anniversary costume packs.
- Challenges have been partially implemented, but are inaccessible in this update.
Changes
- When creating a new profile, the Pod is now loaded instead of the Introduction.
- Changed the graphic for the "Can't Swoop, Won't Swoop" pin.
Version 1.21
Released on June 13, 2016. This is the final update to be released in Japan before support was ended in the region.
Additions
A data update containing the Battlestar Galactica Costume Pack, as well as the Tiki Paradise and Seaside Surprise level kits.

Additions
- Added the data for the SpongeBob SquarePants Premium Level Kit and its associated costumes, as well as the Steven Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Women In History costume packs.
Changes
- It is no longer possible to kill OddSock, Toggle or Swoop by drawing materials over them.
- The Ice, Slush and Frost Materials from the DC Comics Premium Level Kit have been updated to better match how they appeared in LittleBigPlanet 2.
- When attempting to use the Import function on the Moon, the player will now be informed if there is no data available to import.
Fixes
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur after finishing A Night On The Tiles if the player started the game before the latest update was installed and attempted to skip the cutscene before installation had completed.
- Fixed an issue where various models from older LittleBigPlanet titles would fail to load.
- Fixed texture issues with the Cuddly Bear and Scorpion objects from the original LittleBigPlanet.
- Fixed further discrepancies with the Speed Sensor between PS3 and PS4.
- (PS4) When choosing a sticker for a Level Badge, selecting a non-imported SHARE screenshot no longer creates an icon based on another item in the Popit.
- The Versus Scoreboard graph will now display correctly at the end of a level.
- Fixed a bug that prevented animated decorations from playing when attached to an Entrance.
- Tag Sensors set to with a thin layer radius will no longer activate when the corresponding Tag is outside the radius.
- Fixed a crash in the Corner Editing Popit Puzzle that could occur when spamming and on the second block of the ball mechanism.
Version 1.18
Released on February 23, 2016.
- Added the data for the Inside Out Costume Pack.
New Bugs
- Various models from older LittleBigPlanet titles fail to load correctly, including the Tails Nose, Sebastian Hair, LocoRoco Yellow Hand, and the LittleBigPlanet 2 variant of the Level Link.
Version 1.17
Released on Decemeber 17, 2015.[4]
- Added the data for the Monsters, Inc. Costume Pack.
Changes
- It is no longer possible to publish LittleBigPlanet 3 levels over ones published in older LittleBigPlanet titles; attempting to do so will bring up an error message informing them as such.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue with Community Adventures that would cause lag and potential stalling when browsing the Community menu.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur when using the Last Played shortcut while offline, and the last level played was a Popit Puzzle.
- Fixed a game crash when using the Slice 'N Dice Tool to cut through a hollow shape while spamming .
- The player's mugshot that appears on level reviews will now display their current costume.
- Collecting or otherwise killing all of the Creature Brains on an object will now destroy all connected parts.
- The "I. AM. INVINCIBLE!" trophy and Pin will now unlock correctly in community Adventures, as well as standalone community levels.
- Fixed a number of potential out of bounds glitches in Needlepoint Peaks.
- Fixed speed discrepancies with the Speed Sensor across PS3 and PS4.
- The Follower and Physics Tweaker now light up correctly when activated.
- The Sackpocket Tweaker now displays the correct quantity when using the Sackpocket Sensor.
- Paintings that include stickers, or black paint and a transparent background, will now save correctly.
Version 1.16

- Added the data for The Good Dino and the four Doctor Who costume packs.
Fixes
General
- Hearted Level Keys can no longer be placed in Play Mode.
- Explosives no longer cause glued objects to become unstuck.
- The Lantern Power material from the DC Comics Premium Level Kit should now display correctly.
- Players who have previously earned the Beta Test Vest or Bug Blaster Costume should now be able to locate these items in the in-game store.
Levels
- Platforms and objects will no longer disappear in the Manglewood Swamp, Ziggurat Grand Hall and Bunkum Lagoon after playing various DLC level kits.
- Fixed a progression blocker in METAL GEAR SOLID Act 4: The Level Factory that would prevent players from completing the level.
- Fixed a progression blocker in A Navy Frigate that would prevent players from completing this level.
Version 1.15

- Added the data for Sackboy's Prehistoric Asset Pack, as well as the Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and Plants vs. Zombies costume packs.

Additions
- Added the data for the Back to the Future Level Kit and its associated costumes.
- Added new Hoverboard related states to the State Sensor.
Changes
- (PS4) The Touch Pad can now be used to select Gamma under "Display Settings".
- The Bendy Rail's tweak menu.
- To make them visually consistent with other connector type, connector pins have been added to the ends. These can be toggled on or off in its tweak menu.
- The "Interacts With" tweak now allows the user to individually toggle the rail's interaction with the Rail Hook, Hook Hat and Hoverboard powerups.
Fixes
General
- Fixed a network connectivity issue that could occur when rapidly changing costumes or costume pieces.
- Sackboy's face no longer clips with the Space Pilot Helmet from the Sci-Fi Pack when changing emotions or using the "Hold to Retry" option.
Create Tools
- The Swivel Light no longer drifts away from the inital point it was placed.
- The Movie Camera can now be properly tweaked if it was initally tweaked before being placed.
- Stickers selected for the Steam, Dust and Stitcker Weather materials will no longer appear as Switch Triggers in the Popit.
- Creators can now correctly back out of a Sackbot after recording an animation.
- Using the Corner Editor, selecting multiple corners and pressing to delete them will no longer cause the player to drift in Create Mode.
- If a non-climbable material is placed, and the Material Changer is used to change it into a climbable material, it will now function correctly as a climbable material.
- Sticker Panels no longer forget their colour settings when captured as part of a custom powerup.
- The Follower gadget now correctly lights up when activated.
Version 1.13

Additions
- Added a new "Recommended For You" category to the Community menu.
- Recommends new levels to play based on the activity of a player's Hearted Creators.
- Added an option to heart the level's creator from the Pause menu and the End of Level screen.
- Added a Pin progress display to the Pause menu, which highlights the player's current progress towards three Pins based on the current game mode.
Changes
- In the Community menu, help text is now displayed if the "Recommended For You", "My Queue", "My Playlists" or "My Hearted Content" categories are currently empty.
Fixes
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when the system attempts to access save data after loading up the game online and attempts to connect to PSN during the start-up sequence.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur if the player signs out of PSN immediately after a loading screen appears.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur online when two or more players are in a level, the Host disconnects from the session and a Client attempts to re-join them.
Version 1.12
Released on August 27, 2015.[8]
Additions
- Added the data for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Costume Pack.
- Added Dive In, a feature that allows players to join multiplayer sessions being hosted by other people.
- Can be accessed from either the Social menu in the Pod or in the Play Online section of the Pause menu.
- When selecting Dive In, the player can choose to Join any active Dive In session or Host their own session for other players.
- Hosting a game temporarily overrides the Online Play settings, allowing other players to join regardless of whether Auto-Reject is enabled.
- The first time Dive In is selected, a message pops up warning that the feature is in early access.
Changes
- The Social menu now sorts PSN Friends and Hearted Creators alphabetically.
- The "Remember these settings next time I play" option in the Online Play section of Settings has been removed, as the relevant settings will now always be remembered.
Fixes
General
- Updated Horrible Gas to avoid performance issues when using it in large amounts.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when browsing the in-game Store when a network error occurs.
- Adventure Maps will now display correctly if the player is rejected from joining another player whilst viewing that map.
- Stickers and Decorations placed in the Pod during a previous session can now be removed in a later session.
- Updated Earths and Moons to prevent other players from being able to steal them.
- Level titles with long names now display correctly in all languages.
- The "Collector Extraordinaire" Pin and Trophy will now progress and unlock correctly.
- The "Finally Home" Pin and Trophy now correctly unlock in the rare circumstance that the main User Account was switched over to a Guest Account whilst playing The Journey Home.
- Purchasing the Sci-Fi Adventures Level Creator Kit now correctly adds the "Escape from San Crispin" and "The Pleasure of Treasure" music tracks to the Tools Bag.
- The red gems on the Rare Prize Crown should now display correctly.
My Moon & Create Tools
- Sackbots can now be correctly killed by Horrible Gas.
- The Sackpocket Pedestal will now correctly remember its tweaks when placing an item on it.
- The Music Sequencer's pause and play symbols will now display correctly on PlayStation 3.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Popit to appear blank when opening the level's description and saving a level whilst the Popit is still open.
- Setting a Tag Sensor's Range to infinite and setting its Trigger Angle to 0 no longer crashes the game in some circumstances.
- The Broadcast Microchip's "Broadcast To: All in Contact" tweak can now differentiate between Toggle's forms.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur when selecting the Loading Linker.
Levels
- Fixed a progression issue that would prevent the player from progressing to Manglewood Swamp if they went to Create Mode after clearing the Prologue but before entering Manglewood for the first time.
- Fixed an issue in the Adventure Time Level Kit where the Finn character at the start of the level would return to his starting position.

Additions
- Added the data for The Journey Home Premium Level Kit and the God of War 3 Costume Pack.
- Added new states to the State Sensor, related to the new Springinator powerup.
Changes
- The Note's default colours have been changed to black text on a yellow background.
- The infamous "Fix Me Hook Hat" placeholder texture in the Sackbot's tweak menu has been replaced with a render of the Hook Hat.
- The Social Menu has been separated into two pages, which can be cycled with and .
- The first page contains PSN Friends, and the second lists Hearted players.
- Players will now appear on both pages if they are a PSN Friend that has been hearted.
- Multiplayer connection messages have been updated to better inform players when a player is unable to be connected to after sending them a join or invite request.
- Pressing now skips the end-of-level sequence for both the Scoreboard and the Progress Board.
- Prior to this update, / was used to skip the former, while skipped the latter.
- (PS4) Pressing now ends the screensaver that appears when leaving the game idle.
- PlayStation Move Motion Controllers are now supported when navigating Adventure Maps.
Fixes
General
- Objects that had previously become stuck to Sackboy will now be removed when returning to the Pod.
- (PS3) PlayStation 4 exclusive Pins will no longer unlock on PlayStation 3.
- (PS4) Keyboards will now continue to function correctly after exiting to the Home Screen and returning to the game.
- Fixed a rare game crash that could occur when placing a Level Icon onto an Adventure Map that is already covered with stickers.
Create Tools
- The Corner Editor no longer behaves erratically when attempting to use it.
- (PS4) The Touch Pad can no longer be used to manipulate elements in Create Mode while the Save Changes prompt is on-screen.
- Various fixes related to Magic Mouths.
- Magic Mouths created in LittleBigPlanet 2 that contain long audio recordings now play as intended.
- Magic Mouths created in LittleBigPlanet 2 that are wired directly into one another now function correctly.
- Magic Mouths no longer play simultaneously, and will now play in the correct sequence as set by their creator.
- Magic Mouths no longer require a lot of text added to their "Speech" to allow for a full recording time.
- The Note Tool will now remember its setting when emitted.
Levels
- Fixed a out of bounds issue in Masque Maker's Tower.
- Fixed a multiplayer bug in Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes where only one player would respawn in certain sections of the level.
- Fixed an issue with the checkpoint in the Muppets Premium Level Kit's boss level, the Final Curtain, that meant the player only had one life to beat the boss.

Additions
- Added data for the Hunter Costume from Bloodborne, the Fix Me Hook Hat T-Shirt and new variants of the Beta Test Vest for OddSock, Toggle and Swoop.
Changes
- Added an extra Prize Bubble to the Adventure Time Level Kit containing a previously unreleased balloon decoration, located at the start of the Ice Kingdom.
- A script related to the unreleased Hud Element was overwritten with a duplicate of the Microchip script, effectively removing it from the game.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented the PlayStation Eye Camera Stickers from being placed.
- Custom Sackbot characters with logic attached to their circuit boards will now persist when dying and respawning.
- Fixed a potenaital crash that could occur when opening a Controlinator near the edge of a level.

- Added sorting and filtering options to text search.
- Added support for server-side community categories.
- Added Pod backgrounds for the Adventure Mode themes, which are now unlocked alongside their Create Mode counterparts.
Changes
- (PS4) Sackboy, OddSock, Toggle and Swoop will now appear visibly damp for a short period after coming in contact with global water or rain.
- This effect will only work in sessions with one or two players, and will be temporarily disabled in games with three or four players.
- Level Trailers will no longer appear to be playable on PlayStation 3, since recording and viewing Trailers is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version.
Fixes
General
- Save progress will now save correctly between game sessions.
- Magic Mouths will now correctly play recorded audio.
- The newsfeed will now correctly display news to all players.
- Missing sound effects can now be used in the Sound Object.
- Patched an infinite jump exploit that could be performed by using, unequipping and re-equipping the Boost Boots.
- The friends list will now correctly display PSN friends when opening it for the first time.
- (PS4) Deleting the small 15MB profile will now correctly remove all collected prizes from the Popit.
- Fixed a bug with the Hook Hat that caused certain Special Costumes - like Clive Handforth and Newton - to merge with Sackboy's model when equipping and unequipping the powerup.
- LittleBigPlanet 2 Profile backups no longer appear when importing a LittleBigPlanet 3 Profile backup.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent players from publishing an Adventure when they still have at least one spare slot available on their Earth.
- Individual costumes can now be searched for on the Store.
- New players entering the Pod, playing an Adventure or Popit Puzzle and then returning to the Pod will no longer cause it to remain on an incorrect background.
- Creating a new profile and restarting the game will no longer cause the player to enter the Pod with a missing background.
- The Pod Computer no longer disappears when navigating the Adventure, Popit Puzzles and Community menus whilst other players are in the Pod.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when disconnecting from a network while returning to a heavily decorated Pod.
- When decorating planets, the Darkness, Fogginess and Fog Colour settings under Global Controls will now save correctly.
- If the player ends up on a screen containing nothing but locked levels, they will now be able to return to the previous screen.
- Fixed a hanging issue that could occur in the Tutorials area of the game.
- The Team Picked Pin will now be correctly awarded to creators that have a level featured in Team Picks.
- Fixed a bug where joining a Team Picked creator would incorrectly award the player with the Team Picked Pin.
- Players can no longer collect Collectabells from another player's Adventure game to increase the Collectabell count for their own Adventure.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to access a broekn Adventure Mpa when entering a Community Adventure.
- Fixed a number of instances of the "A player failed to lood your profile" and "Failed to load player profile" erros occuring during online and local multiplayer connection attempts.
- If the setting labelled "When I Play A Level That Has Others Playing It" is set to "Ask Each Time", the player will more consistently receive a message asking if they would like to join other players in the level.
- Fixed an instance where players would fail to load into a newly assigned host's Pod during an online session.
- As a guest player, pausing the game in a level will now correctly display the name of the level and its creator.
My Moon & Create Tools
- Fixed a bug where locking an Adventure on My Moon would make it unselectable.
- Creators will no longer be met with an error mesage when attempting to enter a level with Dynamic Thermometer enabled.
- Fixed a freeze caused by attempting to quickly place a level slot after creating a new Adventure.
- Custom Sackpocket items now correctly display their remaining quanitity in the Sackpocket, if the creator set a finite quanitiy in the Sackpocket Tweaker.
- Fixed a bug where players could earn points in a Versus level by killing themselves with the Creatinator.
- The game no longer hangs when placing a Character Animation Tweaker on a Sequencer that is placed on a Sackbot.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when changing the Bendy Rail's material to the Rain Material.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur when rapidly undoing and redoing with an active Preloader in the level.
- Fixed a crash caused by collecting a Collectabell spawned by the Popit Powerup in Play Mode.
- (PS4) Improved the reliability of the Touch Pad in the Popit.
Levels
- Fixed a crash that could occur for clients when the host disconnects while entering the Introduction.
- Fixed a bug that could cause players to lose the Pumpinator in Stitchem Manor during an online game.
- Fixed a bug in Manglewood Swamp that could prevent the player from correctly entering Shake, Rattle & Roll after connecting a second controller.
- Fixed an infinite loading bug that could occur when completing Shake, Rattle & Roll for the first time with four players in an online game.
- Guest players should no longer get stuck in Contraption Challenge: The Wheel Deal if the host dies.
- Fixed a hanging issue that could occur when a second local player attempts to join Out Walking The Dog after the cutscene has started.
- Fixed an instance where the game would crash or fail to connect to other players when attempting to enter the Ziggurat Grand Hall with four players.
- Fixed the part after the first climing section in Challenge Room: Here, There and Everywhere that could see one of the players fall out of the level. The result of which would prevent progress, even if using the Hold to Retry option in the Popit.
- Levels in Bunkum Lagoon will no longer display duplicates of the same item under the Collectables section of the level's details page.
- Fixed a progress block that could occur in Belly Of The Beast if the player dies during the rising water section.
- Fixed an out-of-bounds bug near the first plunger in Cloud Caravan.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Swoop to spawn in the Sackboy section of Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes.
- All players in a multiplayer game should now have the correct items available in their Popit while player the Popit Cursor Popit Puzzle.
- Fixed an out-of-bounds bug in the Danger Tweaker Popit Puzzle.
- Players are now able to collect all of the Prize Bubbles in METAL GEAR SOLID Act 1: Introduction using the corrrect Sticker on the required Sticker Switches..
- Using a Wall Jump Surface no longer causes the lights in a level to turn off.
- Batman now wears the Hero Cape in the powerup's tutorial level.
- Fixed a number of respawning issues in Zone Control.

General
- Attempting to equip costumes while playing as Toggle will no longer crash the game.
- Changing forms as Toggle whilst entering a Level link will no longer prevent the player from being able to enter it.
- Fixed a potential crash bug when walking in front of a Level Link.
- Fixed a level copying explot involving the "Enable Adventure Save Warnings" option.
- Patched a glitch that allowed players to access Create Mode in the Pod.
- Collecting lots of Score Bubbles at once in multiplayer will no longer crash the game.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur if the player simultaneously attempts to delete and move a level on their Earth using both versions of the game at the same time.
- Fixed a freeze that would occur if the player disconnected their Ethernet cable, reconnected it and attempted to join another player multiple times.
- Fixed an infinite loading glitch that would occur if the host removed their Ethernet cable while another player was changing characters.
- The "Unlock LittleBigPlanet 2 Content" feature will no longer cause the game to freeze.
- Fixed an crash that could occur when wearing the Clive Handforth or Eve Silva Paragorica costumes during cutscenes.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when repeatedly spamming stickers in the Pod.
- Fixed an online multiplayer crash that could occur when placing lots of stickers in games with three or more players.
- The trousers for Little Toggle's Skull Face Costume will no longer stretch when changing layers.
- Marshmallow's Feet can now be properly unequipped.
My Moon & Create Tools
- Fixed a crash that could occur with the Paint Tool when saving and exiting from a Painting.
- Attempted to fix the "Battle On The Ice" music track from the original LittleBigPlanet.
- Diverging whilst capturing a character in Create Mode will no longer create a custom Sackboy that is unusable in the Pod or other game modes.
- Tag Sensors will now display the correct colour assigned to them.
- Attaching an Object Saver to a Sackbot's circuit board will no longer throw up a profile error.
- Faded objects can now be correctly box-selected and captured.
- Wires coming from gadgets placed onto a faded object will no longer be invisible.
- Output tabs on gadgets attached to faded objects can now be grabbed with the Popit Cursor.
- Placing a gadget on an active circuit board will no longer crash the game.
- Fixed a game crash caused by removing an incremented Counter from a Microchip.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur when the Thermometer is nearly full in Create Mode.
- Fixe a crash that could occur by deleting a NOT Gate whilst it is receiving an input from a Randomiser.
- Fixed a crash that could occur in Create Mode when attempting to shift an object backwards when the Thermometer is nearly maxed out.
- Attempting to take a contraption with an Advanced Mover attached to it through a Velociporter will no longer crash the game.
Levels
- The Introduction will now load correctly when importing LittleBigPlanet 2 content during the first boot-up of LittleBigPlanet 3.
- Players are no longer forcibly terminated if a network error occurs whilest multiple players are being matched to each other.
- The background will no longer disappear whena player joins a session in Needlepoint Peaks.
- In multiplayer, the closing walls in Stitchem Manor will now correctly re-open for respawned players if they die multiple times during this sequence.
- Fixed a game crash when attempting to access tweak menu for the Tennis Ball piece in Contraption Challenge: The Wheel Deal.
- Players will no longer receive a streaming chunk file error if the host quits the game while in the Ziggurat Grand Hall.
- Fixed a gameplay divergence that could occur hen playing Flip-Flopped Folios in a multiplayer session.
- Fixed a "Failed to Load Player Profile" error that could occur after completing On The Link Of Disaster.
- Fixed a bug where the Boost Boots would not recharge properly after the sixth refresher.
- Swoop will no longer get stuck in a tube in Cloud Caravan.
- Fixed a bug in the Toggle section of Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes that would cause Little Toggle to become invisible and permanently respawn as Sackboy upon death, making it impossible to complete.
- Fixed a progress blocker that could occur if the player were to fly up at the beginning of the Swoop section of Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes.
- Fixed a progress blocker in the Popit Puzzles that could occur whena player joins as a tutorial begins to play. Previously, it the tutorial would pause and all players would be unable to progress.

- Items from the original LittleBigPlanet should now import correctly.
- The majority of items from LittleBigPlanet 2 should now import properly.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when importing profiles from either of the previous two games.
- (PS4) Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when attempting to import content from older titles whilst LittleBigPlanet 3 game data is still being installed.
- Players at the maximum allocation of twenty published LittleBigPlanet 2 levels should now be able to publish levels in LittleBigPlanet 3.
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to enter Create Mode within the Adventure and Popit Puzzles.
- Fixed a bug that caused certain hearted Tools Bag items to appear in the Popit outside of Create Mode.
- Players will no longer be directed to the Store when selecting a Team Pick from the in-game newsfeed.
- The Prologue no longer shows 100% Prize collection if the four secret Prize Bubbles haven't been collected in the Introduction.
- Progress will now be displayed correctly on downloaded level kits and levels found in the More Stories menu.
- Quickly backing out of the Adventure menu and accessing the Store will no longer cause it to display incorrectly.
- Fixed a deformed facial expression on Eve Silva Paragorica's happy idle animation.
- Fixed a divergence issue that could occur when equipping a costume while playing as one of the non-Sackboy characters.
- Fixed a game crash that could occur when multiple players rapidly fire the Paintinator.
- The "Freshman Creator" trophy now unlocks for all players after completing Popit Academy Term 1.
- The "They Can Swim?", "I. AM. INVINCIBLE!" and "Back to School" trophies now unlock correctly for players that have already earned them on another console version of the game.

- Patched a number of out-of-bounds gliches throughut the Adventure Mode, including:
- Two in Newton's Airship, one that could be done after unlocking the Pumpinator, and another possible when returning with the Boost Boots.
- Two in Stitchem Manor, one when jumping between layers, and another when using the Pumpinator near the first escalator.
- One in Challenge Room: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?
- One involving the Boost Boots in Lights, Camera, Traction!
- Two in Flip-Flopped Folios, one in the co-op area, and another when using the Boost Boots.
- One in Go Loco, just after the fourth Checkpoint.
- Two in Masque Maker's Tower, one when grabbing a wall, and another when using the Velociporters.
- One near the start of Cloud Caravan.
- Improved the framerate in certain areas of Needlepoint Peaks where the player may have previously encountered a dip in performance due to high on-screen activity.
- Fixed a divergence issue that could occur after completing Newton's Airship.
- Players will no longer spawn behind the platform if killed during the Tinpot Towers boss fight when four player are present.
- Fixed a time-out issue that could occur when progressing from A Night On The Tiles to Manglewood Swamp.
- Fixed a bug in Manglewood Swamp that caused the player to become OddSock after only collecting two of the Marbles.
- Fixed a collision bug in Deep Space Drive-In.
- Fixed a divergence issue in Go Logo that could occur when a fourth player attempts to join the session.

Changes
- Updated the Wonderplane Wanderer trophy's description to be more accurate across localisations.

- The Prizes percentage total in Step Through Time will now update correctly.
- Collecting Colelctabells in a community level will no longer add to the Collectabell total in Adventure Mode.
- The Minotaur Costume's skin can now be selected from the Customise Character section of the Popit.
- Selecting the green Misunderstood Dragon costume will now apply its associated skin as part of the costume.
- All players will now be able to see the correct chat indicator when someone is entering text.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the game to freeze when backing up a level on My Moon.
- Fixed an error that occasionally prevented level backups from being imported.
- Fixed a divergence issue caused by the host repeatedly pausing and unpausing the session.
- The Broadcast Microchip will now correctly save any tweaks applied to it.
- Improved audio synchronisation with subtitles across a number of localisations.
- (PS4) Fixed an issue that could cause severe lag if the player has a large number of screenshots in their Capture Gallery.
- The "Unlock LittleBigPlanet 2 Content" option in the Settings menu should now import the majority of items earned in that title.
Stability
- Fixed a number of stability issues that could cause the game to freeze on a loading screen when a network error occurs.
- Improved the stability of the Community menu when browsing levels to prevent the game freezing.
- Numerous stability fixes to prevent the game from freezing when loading in and out of the Manglewood Swamp hub.
- A number of improvements have been made to the Dynamic Thermometer functionality of the Adventure Hubs to improve stability. This includes saving the state of Manglewood Swamp with the rare "broken bridge" occurrence.
Levels
- Fixed a game divergence issue caused by rapidly changing characters in one of the three Adventure Hubs.
- Fixed an infinite loading loop caused by using the Grief Report tool and then entering a level whilst in an Adventure Hub.
- Fixed a divergence issue that could occur when playing Newton's Airship with multiple players.
- Fixed an issue that would prevent the player from progressing past the Prologue, if the pllayer skipped A Night On The Tiles.
- Fixed a freezing issue that could occur when attempting to spawn from a specific Checkpoint.
- The six Collectabells that could disappear after entering the Back in the Saddle Level link no longer disappear.
- Fixed various respawn issues related to Shake, Rattle & Roll.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to exit the boundaries of Lights, Camera, Traction! by standing on the wooden pillar after the second rocket has been launched at the Titan.
- Fixed a couple of divergence issues that could occur in Go Loco.
- Fixed a game divergence that occurred when finishing Cloud Caravan with more than one player.
- Fixed an issue in Contraption Challenge: Joust In Time that caused the level to disappear if an online player used the Undo function of the Popit Powerup while the host did not have it equipped.
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to escape the boundaries of the Velociporters and Teleporters Popit Puzzle.
