Overview

The Space Bass is the penultimate area in LittleBigPlanet Karting's story mode. It is a mix of fresh and familiar, with the first half being set in Avalonia, and the second half being the original theme, creation of the Capt. Sirius Oculus. The theme is constructed around the music and cultural scene of the 1960s and 1970s, mainly drawing on the first space stations developed near the end of the space race, American disco and funk culture of the period, and other 1970s lifestyle subcultures that emerged from the 1960s counterculture, such as the anti-materialistic hippie culture.
