Introducing water switches, switches that react to being in water, or not...

In-game description

The Water Switch level is a tutorial level in the Water Creator Tutorials pack for LittleBigPlanet. In this level, the functionalities of the Scuba Gear and Water Switch are demonstrated.

Overview

The level starts with The Queen showing the player the Scuba Gear powerup, which enables Sackboy to breathe underwater indefinitely, as shown when Sackboy goes for a swim underwater with The Queen accompanying him at one point.

The Water Switch is then shown, attached to a platform being moved by a Piston. Once the platform is submerged, the player can advance, leading them to three platforms attached to Springs - all of which have Sound Objects on them - and by jumping on the platforms, the Water Switches trigger the Sound Objects, causing them to emit three differently-pitched dings.

Finally, the level ends with a circular block with two rings of lights on it - the inner ring made of red lights - attached to a Winch. Pulling the Two-Way Switch right causes the block to be submerged, deactivating the red lights and activating the outer ring of green lights.

The Queen You could use the switch to control anything, here we play with some sound. Jump across to make some lovely music!
