The Global Water Object level is a tutorial level in the Water Creator Tutorials pack for LittleBigPlanet. In this level, the functionalities of the Global Water Object are demonstrated.
Overview
The level starts with The Queen showing the player the Global Water Object; the first of its shown functions is changing the water level, causing stairs made of Basic Polystyrene to float upwards for the player to climb, and a block of polystyrene to float downwards so they can progress onwards. Next, the buoyancy of certain materials is shown; blocks of sponge and wood float upwards with the water, while metal and stone stay at the bottom.
The player is then tasked by The Queen to change the water's color via four underwater Two-Way Switch, showcasing the ability to change the water's color; in this case, blue, yellow, red and green. The water's murkiness setting is shown after that, in which Sackboy dives underwater and swims in front of a rotating contraption with several Global Water Objects attached to it, all of which are set at different murkiness levels.
Finally, the water's natural ability to douse fiery objects is shown; the player can pull a Two-Way Switch to open a door high on the opposite wall, which releases circular fiery blocks into the water, dousing them instantly.
