- Not to be confused with LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation Portable).
Before SCE Cambridge started work on what would become LittleBigPlanet PSP, a separate LittleBigPlanet game for the handheld was being worked on at Studio Liverpool. This version was never publicly announced, but a source familiar with the project had leaked its existence to Computer and Video Games in April 2008.[1]
Concept art for the project was uploaded to ArtStation by Andy Phelan on November 1, 2016,[2] with even more being found on his (now defunct) website. Very little is known about the game, though the available concept art seems to suggest that costumes would have played a major role in the gameplay, granting Sackboy abilities like climbing walls or walking underwater. It's unknown exactly how much work was done for it, if it ever entered full production, or why it was cancelled.
