Create Mode (draft)
- Npita2: This is a hypothetical Create Mode article. Even though this page doesn't exist, but has some links on some pages, I thought I would create this page, as it wouldn't make sense to create a page so little despite its importance throughout the series.
Create Mode is a game mode accessed by creating or entering a level on the My Moon. Prizes and tools collected throughout Story Mode, community levels, and downloadable content can be found in the player's inventory to be used at their disposal to craft their own creations. Various functions are also available through the Popit Menu and Start Menu, allowing modifications to objects, or the level itself.
The Popit Cursor is the primary tool to interact with objects and tools in Create Mode.
Popit Menu in Create Mode
- Npita2: I am bound to make mistakes in this section. An incomplete section, to add.
In Create Mode, the popit menu displays exclusive sections regarding inventory, tools, and the level.
| Popit Cursor The Popit Cursor is a multifunctional tool that can interact with objects, and tools. |
| Goodies Bag The Goodies Bag houses collected craft material, objects, community objects, and objects captured with the Capture Object Tool. |
| Tools Bag The Tools Bag offers special tools and kits, allowing far greater options for creating. |
Exclusive to the original LittleBigPlanet, the Tutorials section transports the player to their next Create Mode lesson. |
Global Stuff houses options that alters the level lighting, water level, etc. Settings here were originally placed in the Tools Bag. |
D-pad controls
In Create Mode, the D-pad allow special controls that manipulate the level state.
- Pressing
pauses and unpauses the level.
- Pressing
enables and disables hover mode. Hold
to accelerate while hovering, and use
to adjust the camera pan and zoom.
- Note that the camera zoom determines the speed of hover mode.
- Upon disabling hover mode, the camera will revert to its standard settings.
- Pressing
undos the last action, pausing the level in the process.
- Pressing
redos the last action. Undoing is required to redo an action.
Thermometer
The thermometer indicates the capacity of resources used in your level. If the thermometer overheats, it will prevent objects from being placed until other objects are removed.
