Ulitimate Sackboy is an upcoming 3D auto-runner game for mobile devices. It will be the fourth entry in the Sackboy subseries, the tenth game in the overall LittleBigPlanet series, and the second dedicated mobile title following Run Sackboy! Run! It will revolve around Sackboy competing in the Sackworth University Games, with the player swiping the screen to dodge obstalces and collect Score Bubbles in order to get a higher score than the opponent.

Developed by Exient Publishing, it was initially released on the Android's Google Play Store as an early access soft-launch in certain territories. Currently it is only playable on Android devices, however, an iOS version has been confirmed for a future release.[1]

Development

In March 2021, Ultimate Sackboy was soft-launched as an early access game in select territories, however, its existence wouldn't come to the attention of the community until late April, when concept art for the title was uploaded to ArtStation by illustrator Javier Corzo. The title given to the concept art, "Little Big Planet 2019" suggests that it formally entered development sometime in 2019.[2]

On May 6, 2021, XDev Director Pete Smith replied to Twitter user Nerdyant64 confirming the game's existence, stating it was in "early access at this stage." When asked, he also confirmed that an iOS version was planned for release.[1]
