Fireproof Studios

There may be more easter egg occurances than listed here (I have not taken the time to translate the signs in the Cosmos background, and haven't touched LBP3), but these are all the ones I could find.

Overview

Fireproof Studios was responsible for designing backgrounds after the original release of LittleBigPlanet, starting on the Metal Gear Solid Pack as their first kit. They continued to develop backgrounds for LittleBigPlanet 2 onwards.

They did NOT design the backgrounds for the original LittleBigPlanet; those were developed by Media Molecule members themselves, particularly Kareem Ettouney and Thomas Guillon.

One of the co-founders of the studio, Barry Meade, voices Clive Handforth in the English release of the game.

Easter Eggs

Many of the Fireproof designed backgrounds feature an easter egg hidden in the environment, either with the studio's name or the studio's logo.

LittleBigPlanet DLC

Metal Gear Solid

The cardboard box on the far left of the background uses the studio's orange cross logo as part of the label. This is not present in the original MGS4 box texture that was used to make the box's texture.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The empty bottles on the far right of the background have a label with a skull and crossbones with the word "Fireproof" underneath.

LittleBigPlanet 2

Tutorial Background

The mug featured in the background (as well as the default pod background) uses the studio's orange cross logo, and the paint tubes in the background have the text "Fireproof" on them.

Victoria's Lab

The electric spheres in the center of the background feature the text "FIRE" within a circular label on them.

Eve's Asylum

The connectors for the black fibre pipes in the background have the text "Fireproof" on them.

LittleBigPlanet 2 DLC

Toy Story

A wooden block in the Toy Story Kit's background features the studio's orange cross logo on a wooden block; the other letters on the block are E, F, I, P, O, and R which spell out the company's name, Fireproof.
