Downloadable Content (abbreviation: DLC) is extra content for a game that you can download from the PlayStation Store or through the in-game shop.

Categories of DLC in LittleBigPlanet

1. Costume Packs

• Contain costumes and costume parts
• Costumes from packs can be bought either in a single Costume Pack or separately
• Some costumes aren't included in any pack
• Original costumes usually cost 0.99$, packs of them usually cost 2.99$
• Licensed costumes usually cost 1.99$, packs of them usually cost 5.99$

2. Minipacks

• Contain costume/s and costume parts, alongside other items, such as stickers, decorations, sound objects
• Things from these cannot be bought separately
• The costs vary widely because of the different amounts of content included in each one

3. Level Kits

• Contain 1 level, which contains many stickers, decorations, objects, etc.
• Usually cost 4.99$

4. Level Packs

• Contain 4-6 levels, which contain many stickers, decorations, objects, etc.
• Some introduce new game mechanics, which can only be accessed through the certain DLC
• Usually cost 5.99$

5. Rare

• Contain costumes and costume parts
• Either available for a short time or granted by the devs
• Usually free or 4.99$

6. Other

• Don't fit to any other category
• Cost varies
