Grandmaster Sensei is a major character in LittleBigPlanet and the creator curator of the Islands.
History
LittleBigPlanet
After Ze Dude in the Metropolis, he sends Sackboy to the Islands to train with Grandmaster Sensei - his teacher. Upon arriving at the Islands, Grandmaster Sensei trains Sackboy in her dojo. With the Terrible Oni threatening the Islands in its volcano, Grandmaster Sensei tasks Sackboy with retrieving her fire-breathing cat from her castle fortress, after which Sackboy completes his warrior training by flying into the volcano and defeating the oni. Grandmaster Sensei is later found to be one of many creator curators targeted by the Collector and held captive in his lair.

Grandmaster Sensei makes a minor appearance in the challenge level Sensei's Speed Run, which is largely based off the Islands theme.
The Journey Home
Grandmaster Sensei is invited to the party upon sending her invitation with all the stamps found in Spring Time in the Gardens, showing up in From Chaos to Cakes three times. Once in the hall preceding the cutscene, again with every other party member in the final welcome back, and lastly in a photo dancing in the air with Swoop.
General information
Physical appearance
Grandmaster Sensei is a small woman dressed in traditional geisha wear, with white makeup and large black hair tied back. She wears a yellow flower in her hair, and two flower-patterned charms hang from either side of her head. She wears a plain red kimono. Grandmaster Sensei is always seen riding an electrified cloud, with her body backdropped by a circular rainbow.
Personality
Grandmaster Sensei has little dialogue throughout her appearance in the Islands, with most being instructional for the player in navigating the theme's levels.
