Category:Breakout box templates

A breakout box, or bob for short, is a text box that provides a synopsis of an article, generally containing key highlights and information about the topic at hand. In the case of video games, this includes things like when the game was released, what system(s) it can be played on, the companies that developed or published it, that sort of thing. That's what these templates are for, and you've likely already seen a few while browsing the wiki.

Some people prefer to call them "infoboxes", but those people are boring.
