The '''''[[LittleBigPlanet PS Vita]]'' Beta Trial''' is a beta trial version of ''LittleBigPlanet PS Vita''. Registrations were first opened to the public on May 9, 2012,<ref name="PSBlogBetaRegistrations">[https://blog.playstation.com/2012/05/09/littlebigplanet-ps-vita-beta-is-coming-soon/ LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Beta Is Coming Soon] – PlayStation.Blog, May 9, 2012</ref> with the trial running from May 30 to July 6.

Following the end of the trial period, loading into the [[Pod]] presents a message stating that "the age of the beta is at an end," preventing the player from interacting with the game in any way. If the beta is updated to version 1.02, it is possible to bypass this by adding an empty file labelled <tt>demo.makeitso</tt> to the root of the gamedata folder, however, the "Beta Area" on [[Carnivalia]] will be inaccessible. A patched <tt>blurayguids.map</tt> has been created to restore access to these levels.
