Description from Archived LittleBigPlanet Website[1]

The Mm Music Pack 1 is a downloadable asset pack for the original LittleBigPlanet; it was released on October 8, 2009. The contents of the pack include three interactive music tracks that were intended for the Seaside, American Mid-West Train and Japanese Akihabara District themes before they were scrapped, bundling them alongside 22 musical notation stickers. The interactive tracks were renamed, making them distinct from their corresponding themes; 'Tea by the Sea' originated from the Seaside, 'Well Trained' from American Mid-West Train, and 'Wise Owl' from Japanese Akihabara District.

Despite the name, this was the only dedicated music pack released; the only other pack to include only music and stickers bundled together is the free Tearaway Competition Minipack for LittleBigPlanet 2.

History

Early icon with the Chrysalis of Eternity.

To do: think of something mildly witty to put in here.

To do: Cover the patch file with information relating to a second music pack.

Early store icon

In the LittleBigPlanet Water Beta's 1.00 build, the store icon for the pack included the song 'The Chrysalis of Eternity', which was released months prior with the History Kit. Despite the implications regarding the song's placement and the rest of the pack's contents, this was later clarified to be accidental.[citation needed]

Music Pack 2 development

Despite Music Pack 1 being named as such, no other downloadable content would be released to succeed it. However, in one of the updates for the game, a raw text file is present that lists two songs for the music pack as "downloadable content", along with the i_my_advice_2 track. The existence of a preview for the song implies that player interactivity was at one point planned.
