Category:Partially Recovered Prototypes

Not all prototypes that are discovered are guaranteed to be fully intact, or even in a bootable state. Whether it's due to the game being deleted from a development kit's internal storage, or the physical media being lost or damaged, some prototypes may only be partially recoverable — missing large chunks of data, or even just a few critical files needed to get it up and running. These incomplete builds can still have value, however, as whatever data is recovered can hint towards what the build would have contained or how it might've differed from its final release version.
