Swoop is a playable character in LittleBigPlanet 3. Being a bird, she can fly and glide through the air.

Gameplay

By holding , Swoop will flap her wings and begin ascending indefinitely, falling back to the ground when released.

Pressing and holding whilst falling causes Swoop to start gliding; pushing in this state will redirect the player's downward velocity in any direction, allowing them to travel faster than otherwise possible. This mechanic was adapted from the Hero Cape powerup from LittleBigPlanet 2's DC Comics Premium Level Kit.

Much like with Sackboy and Toggle, holding next to a grabbable object will cause Swoop to grab hold of it with her talons; she can then use her wings to carry it through the air.
