Below are the details of the updates released for LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Portable.
Version 2.05 "Cherry Pie"
Released on April 26, 2010.
Additions
- Added the data for the Turbo! Premium Level Kit.
- Added the Microbomb, a smaller variant of the Shockbomb that can kill players and creatures, but won't push objects away.
- Magic Eyes, which were previously only used by the Scorpion toy from Golden Sands, have now been added to the Tools Bag.
- Added the ability to Flip an object, accessed by selecting and tweaking an object.
- Added a Front View option, which reduces the Field of View to remove all perspective, similar to the console games.
- This is accessible from the Settings menu, but can also be toggled by pressing .
- Added a "Cool Levels" search option to the Community Moon.
Changes
- Stickers applied to an object will now scale alongside the object.
- Circular shapes are now true circles, as opposed to twelve-sided objects.
- The background on the language selection screen has been coloured purple.
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where a Wobble Bolt would act like a Motor Bolt if it was connected to a switch with its behavour tweaked to "direction", and the bolt itself had rotation set to 360.
- Fixed a bug where a putting the system into sleep mode and then waking it up would display a message informing the player that their data was corrupt.

Fixes
- Pistons now behave correctly when connected to a dynamic object then a static object.
- It is now possible to exit the Popit if a piston doesn't connect.
- Scoreboards now trigger whilst upside down, like they used to.
- Fixed an unspecified bug caused by two Emitters emitting the same MyObject.

Additions
- Added the ability to copy and paste objects in a scene. This can be accessed by selecting and tweaking an object.
- Added the option to disable the undo/redo feature in the Settings menu.
Changes
User Interface
- The background on the language selection screen has been coloured red.
- It is now possible to scroll through the downloaded levels list immediately after completing a downloaded level.
- Pressing on the Community Moon menu will refresh the community data for all downloaded levels.
- When connecting to the Community Moon, a progress bar is now displayed alongside a percentage.
- Downloaded levels are now grouped closer together.
- The hearts and plays on a level have been moved slightly on the info page,
Create Mode
- Shapes can now be scaled and rotated before stamping them in a scene.
- MyObjects and object-based gadgets can now be rotated before placing them.
- Items held together by connectors can now be scaled.
- Connectors like Pistons and Rods can now be repositioned after being placed.
- Dragging a box with the Popit Cursor will now only select objects if they are completely surrounded.
- Gluing now supports user directed input; gluing object from the side is now allowed in preference over gluing objects backwards, which was the default.
- The tweak menu for sound objects now includes the name of the sound that will be played.
- Creatures now only jump if the player is nearby.
- Magic Mouths with no text will no longer display a speech bubble in Play Mode.
- Scoreboards now only activate if Sackboy is above the base, fixing a bug that made it possible to trigger them from below.
- The game now autosaves after the Corner Editor has been put away.
- Captured MyObjects can now be captured as part of other MyObjects.
- Emitters, Scoreboards and Prize Bubbles can now be captured as part of MyObjects.
- Gadgets can now be attached to Collected Objects and MyObjects.
- It is now possible to use the Material Changer and Danger Tools on MyObjects.
- Improved the capture capacity for MyObjects, allowing larger and more complex items to be captured.
Fixes
- When switching to and from Create Mode, materials and gadgets will no longer drift when repeatedly selected.
- Dynamic objects joined to static objects by Dissolve Material will properly separate and move once the Dissolve Material has been destroyed.
- A material's rotation will no longer drift between level saves.
- Stickers applied to an emitted object will stay attached if the Emitter itself is moved.
- Sensor Switches and buttons should now save their initial states properly.
- Deleting a switch will no longer delete the object it was glued to.
- Changing a material to Peach Floaty will properly make it bouyant.
- Fixed issues that prevented the Corner Editor from editing corners if they were on the glued edge of an object.
- Corner editing an object with gadgets attached will no longer cause them to detach.
- Corner editing now checks all planes (not just the foremost one) for collisions.
- Fixed an issue with the Corner Editor that allowed objects to be made invisible.
- Stickers no longer disappear when corner editing a shape.
- Sackboy no longer gets stuck on edges when he should fall to the floor.
- 3-Way Switches no longer break when rotated more than 90 degrees from the centre.
- Dangerous parts of a creature will no longer harm players after killing its last or only brain.
- Improved the stability of Bolts on MyObjects.
- Numerous unspecified stability fixes.
