Zom Zom's Shop (Sackboy: A Big Adventure)

Zom Zom's Shop is a clothing shop run by the titular Zom Zom, who sells themed costumes to the player in exchange for Collectabells.

Overview

Zom Zom's tent can be found on the World Map in every world, usually near the first Travel Pod platform. Of particular note, it is considered part of the main path in The Soaring Summit, unlocking as soon as the player clears the first Uproar Barrier. As a result, the player is required to make at least one visit in order to unlock Cold Feat and continue their adventure (though the player does not need to purchase anything; simply entering the tent and triggering the first-time cutscene is enough).

Zom Zom's Shop can also be accessed from the Quick Select menu, except in secret areas where travel shortcuts are disallowed.

Zom Zom has a variety of exclusive costumes and emotes for sale, which can be purchased with the Collectabells they've picked up. Outfits can be purchased one piece at a time, or as a complete package. In the case of complete ensambles, the total price is the sum of all the pieces that have not yet been purchased. For example, the Red Riding Hood costume is worth 350 Collectabells and consists of three pieces; buying dress for 150 Collectabells will bring the price of the full bundle down to 200 Collectabells.

When visiting Zom Zom for the first time, he gives the player 350 Collectabells, enough to buy one of the five available outfits. At the start of the game, there are only five complete outfits, four unthemed pieces and three emotes available to buy — but Zom Zom's stock increases as the player progresses through the game.

Wardrobe

As well as purchasing new outfits, it is here where players can customise their Sackperson. The Wardrobe houses all of the costumes, paints and emotes the player has found, bought or downloaded.

At the bottom of the first page, the player can view their progress towards outfits obtained through Prize Bubbles; once the player has found all the pieces, the outfit will appear in the Complete Costumes section.

On the second and third pages, pressing whilst highlighting a costume piece will open the Paint menu, which allows certain parts of the item to be recoloured using one of their available colours; the chosen paint will appear next to the costume piece's icon in the menu.

On the fourth page, the player can equip up to four Emotes and Facial Expressions, one for each direction. Each emote animates Sackboy's face in some way, but if the player selects a facial expression other than Neutral, it will override the emote's facial animations.

As with past LittleBigPlanet games, there are a handful of Functions at the top of each page in the Wardrobe, which are used to reset the player's costume, save up to 30 outfits for later use, or even create a random costume based on their available items.
