This page lists all of the updates released for Ultimate Sackboy on Android and iOS, as well as any known additions, changes and bug fixes made between versions.
Please note that the changes listed here include observations documented by the community. As such, they may not be reflective of the official patch notes, which can be found in the references section at the bottom of the page (where available).

- Implemented a unique drowning animation for falling into the pits in Space Race.
- The pause button that was previously exclusive to Endurance Mode is now present in normal runs, and has been relocated to the bottom right of the screen in both modes.
- A confirmation dialogue has been added when attempting to quit a run, which differs slightly depending on the game mode.
- Added the option to change the player's name after the tutorial. The first three name changes are free, but any subsequent changes cost 80 gems.
- Added the ability to connect a Google account to sync game progress to the cloud.
- Various changes to the Settings menu, including:
- Redesigned the Language select, making use of previously unused flag icons.
- Added links to the game's social media accounts, which give the player 100 coins the first time they tap them.
- Game Version and PlayerID have been moved to a new About sub-menu, which also provides the option to delete the player's account.

Additions
- Added Endurance Mode, unlocked in Tier 2 by earning 400 trophies.
- Endurance is an endless running mode, with the goal of earning as high a score as possible.
- The player can earn coins
- Unlike the main game, the player can pause and quit at any time.
- Added the option to watch an ad to revive Sackboy once per-run.
Changes
- Changed the Randomise icon in the wardrobe to a dice, to better communicate its function.
- It is now possible to rotate Sackboy in the wardrobe and marathon screens again.

Additions
- Added the Snow and Steady environment, unlocked in Tier 5 by earning 1,350 trophies.
- Snow and Steady is a winter themed track set in a tailoring workshop, comprised of piles of fabric, spools of thread and ribbon, and mountaineering equipment.
- Loosely based on the Soaring Summit theme from Sackboy: A Big Adventure, using "Snowballs, Please!" from that game the background music, and featuring the same yeti and goat cardboard puppets as part of the audience.
- Implemented the ability to watch an ad for the following rewards:
- Speed up opening a Loot Bag.
- Getting new Missions in the Marathon.
Changes
- Sackboy can no longer be rotated in the wardrobe by swiping left or right.
Fixes
- Players will no longer lose doubled rewards after exiting the 5 A Day pop-up on certain occasions.
- Bubbles will now spawn correctly when destroying a punching bag with the Shield.
- Various UI updates.
- Unspecified bug fixes.

Additions
- A data update containing content for the London Games Festival live event.
- Added language options for Russian and Portuguese.
Changes
- Reverted the Settings menu changes made in version 1.3.1.
- Removed the option to toggle vibrations.
- The default timer for how long the leaderboard stays on-screen at the end of a run is now consistent regardless of the player's finish position. This gives the player more time to see how their final score compares against their rivals.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the Marathon rewards flow would get stuck in an infinite loop at the end of a season, rendering the game unplayable.

- The music tracks used for the Wardrobe and Marathon screens have been swapped.
- Changed the rewards given out for completing the 5 A Day challenge from Day 8 onward.
- Slow In The Dark now uses a different loop of the song 'Clutch Rocket' from Sackboy: A Big Adventure's soundtrack.
- Certain level chunks have been tweaked to make the Epic and Legendary bubbles easier to come across.

- Runs now have eight scores to beat, as opposed to the one-on-one matches seen in previous versions.
- Numerous graphical changes.
- The Scoreboard has been redesigned to match its appearance in Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
- The badges representing the different tiers have been completely redesigned.
- Updated splash screen.
