Talk Pages

Talk Pages

The Talk Page for an article can be found at the Discussion tab in the upper left of an article's page.
If the Discussion tab is red, no discussion page for the current page exists.

The Purpose of Talk Pages

Talk pages are used to ask questions about the related article.
While you can always ask questions in our discord server, you can leave specific questions for an article on its talk page.
Here are some examples where you might want to use talk pages:
  • If you would like to suggest an edit to an article
  • If you're curious about the validity of a statement (no source?)
  • If you'd like to ask about information related to the article
Talk pages are not a place to argue or disagree with other users; if you're having issues with a user, please contact a staff member from the discord server.
Talk pages are also not intended for previewing page contents; if you want to play around with wiki code, you can make a subpage from your user page.

Using Talk Pages

When you edit a talk page,
If you are replying to a post, preface your post with a colon : before your post.
You can sign your posts with your signature using ````; this will add your username to the end of the post.
Below is a formatting example.
Hello, this is a post. ~~~~
