			Lord Vernon is the third Creator Curator in [[LittleBigPlanet Karting]], and one of the new faces Sackboy meets in the game. He is one of Victoria's Lab Rats and, apparently, her "Chancellor of the Cakes." She has left him in charge of the lab while she’s away, but the only thing Vernon seems to care about is his cakes. Soon, the Hoards begin causing trouble in the lab, and Vernon, unable to do anything about it, must rely on Sackboy to take charge.


			The Hoards kidnap Vernon and use a machine to extract his energy, along with that of the other lab creatures, intending to weaponize it. After Sackboy foils their plan, the Hoards release Vernon and take over Victoria's train instead, in order to escape with all of Vernon’s cakes.


			Once the Hoards are gone and Vernon’s treasure is recovered, he shows gratitude toward Sackboy and offers him some of his sweets, although he ends up eating them all in the blink of an eye

			Vernon is a large, fat rat, usually seen lying on his back with his head and arms raised over his round body. He has blue-gray denim fur with a "grey" belly patch, an ever-open mouth with rodent teeth, pink feet, ears, and nose, chubby arms with pink hands, and a long, meandering tail made of cardboard. He also has mouse whiskers, as seen in the Polaroid.

			Vernon is a sedentary glutton who loves cakes. He has a noble demeanor befitting his "Lord" title and takes his position as the temporary curator of the lab very seriously, because, in his mind, it grants him the rigth to eat all the treats he wants. He is bossy and speaks with an air of importance, usually grumbling, sighing, or even burping in an ironically rude way. Though somewhat naive, he seems to understand how things work in the lab.
