Compared to previous entries, LittleBigPlanet 3 is particularly rich in cut content, especially in regard to its Adventure Mode, deemed lacking in size and content. Major art and story revisions were made throughout the cycle of development, and these worked to cut down on the ambitious scope of the original story. The [[Prologue (Theme)\|Prologue]], LittleBigPlanet 3's introduction to primary antagonist [[Newton]] and his plots to release the Titans, originally took on a much larger scope, in the form of a cut theme referred to as [[Stitchem Green]]. Like all other locations in the Adventure Mode's final build, Stitchem Green was meant to have a fully explorable open world, filled with voiced non-player characters, small challenges, and other secrets that gave a nonlinear approach to story progression.

	While the other locations that followed retained these nonlinear aspects, much of the original art passes were wildly different to their final counterparts. [[Book_One_-_Manglewood \| Manglewood ~~Swamp~~]], in its earliest stages, had a strong Japanese style, and revolved around a conflict involving a pack of wolves. Later builds gave Manglewood a tropical tiki-styled design, badly polluted and threatened by Newton's influence. While the previous theme, as well as the scrapped character, Rusk, were nearly scrubbed altogether, the [[Tiki Paradise Level Kit]] salvaged some of the cut tropical assets from Manglewood's mid-alpha builds. Background assets and cut levels showed off golden, crystalline, and hexagonal architecture, but were all relatively rough compared to the progress made in the previous themes.
