The '''Character Changer''' is a gameplay object in ''[[LittleBigPlanet 3]]'' that allows players to switch to a different character.

==Usage and Behaviour==
Character Changers are placed similarly to [[Checkpoint]]s, occupying the same sub-layer as them. When a player stands within three unobstructed layers in front of a Character Changer, they can press {{button|triangle}} to change from their current character to the character shown in the popup. If the relevant tweak is enabled, they can use the same Character Changer to switch between two different characters, e.g. switching from [[Sackboy]] to [[OddSock]] and vice-versa.

While the Character Changer is always active by default, it has an input that can be used to trigger it with logic; when it receives a digital ON signal, the player who sent the signal will change characters as if they had activated it themselves. If the signal is not owned by a player, then the Character Changer does nothing. Despite the door remaining closed when a wire is connected to it, the Character Changer can still be used normally by pressing {{button|triangle}} in front of it, even if it's powered off.
